Mini Glam: Tween Beauty, Max Personality

A playful, pastel-packed brand concept for kids, tweens & teens who are glam, loud, and just getting started.


The Vibe

Mini Glam is everything your younger self dreamed of: sparkly scrunchies, cheeky product names, and packaging too cute not to collect. Think Glossier meets Claire’s with a shot of early 2000s slumber party energy.

This concept brand was built for the tiny trendsetters and baby beauty lovers who are ready to play, pose, and pucker up.

The Backstory

Mini Glam started as a passion project for a design competition that challenged me to create a beauty brand for a niche audience. I went full throttle into the world of kids’ beauty with a brand that’s bold, cute, and totally age-appropriate.

My goal? To build something that felt playful without feeling immature. That made tweens feel seen, cool, and confident. And that had enough style to make even older Gen Zs do a double take.

The Strategy

  1. Color Palette: Pastels with punch. Soft purples, bubblegum pinks, and creamy whites build a palette that’s dreamy and energetic without being sugary sweet.

  2. Typography: Chunky serif meets girly script display type = high-energy and high-contrast.

  3. Brand Voice: Positive, cheeky, and encouraging. Like your big sister’s makeup bag gave you a pep talk.

  4. Details: Photo booth pics, mini flatlays, and sparkly product mockups give this brand more dimension than your average β€œmade for kids” concept.

The Final Look

Mini Glam came to life through layered visuals and playful composition, delivered as a scrollable zine-style carousel that doubles as a brand showcase.

The Glow-Up
